social art project at small Vagator Ozran beach about garbage
India has given us so much in our lives. We all been traveling a lot and also lived many years in Goa. So this project started because of our love for India but also our worries about the environment here and planet Earth.
Rubbish, plastic and other waste including chemicals harms our common areas, the beautiful beaches, nature, animals, our health, children, next generations. We wanted to do this art project together with local schools and other partners along the beach from Chapora fort until Ozran beach. One of us is a professional artist and is also educated in social art, but we all have creative minds and a will to share knowledge of the enviromental situation and joy of art with everybody
The first day we will clean beaches with school kids and at the same time give them
knowledge about the situation in the world now because of garbage we all leave behind us. Next day we will build a big statue together from the collected garbage in front of Shivas Place on Ozran beach. Statue will be a dancing baby as a symbol of beuty and hope for a better future.
